Provides Fire & Rescue Services to the Borough of Pleasant Hills

Firefighters in uniform work to extinguish a fire at a structure with a partially collapsed roof. Two fire trucks are present, one with a ladder extended and a firefighter spraying water from above. Another firefighter stands on the ground observing the scene.

The Borough of Pleasant Hills is approximately 2.7 square miles, consisting mostly of residential and commercial properties, and has over 8,000 residents and is located several miles outside the City of Pittsburgh.

The Fire Company responds to calls in the borough and mutual aid requests to neighboring municipalities in the surrounding communities in the South Hills and Mon Valley, responding to 400-500 calls annually.

The Fire Company operates from one station at 72 Clairton Boulevard (Route 51), with one engine, rescue, aerial truck, and support vehicles.

When not responding to emergency calls, the Fire Company is constantly training and being involved in community service programs throughout the year.
