Application Process

Ready to join us? Here’s how to apply:

  1. Application Fee: Submit a $20 application fee.
  2. Background Checks: Complete a state and national background check, as well as a child clearance check.
  3. Interview: Participate in an interview with our interview committee. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about you and for you to understand the commitment involved.
  4. Membership Approval: Once accepted by our membership, you will be sworn in as a probationary firefighter.
  5. Training: During your probation, attend various training classes to prepare for active firefighting duties.
